CSO: Advanced / Pro Division

RULES:

1. Couples must compete in one of the following divisions:
   
   Intermediate/Amateur Division: Contestants have little or no performance, competition or choreography experience. Neither partner has received money for teaching. Neither have competed in any contest in a pro division.
   
   Advanced/Pro Division: Contestants are seasoned dancers with experience in past competitions and/or performance. If one partner is professional (has received money for teaching or performing in any style of dance), then both must compete in this division.
    
2. All styles of Salsa welcome
3. Tricks, lifts, drops, and side-by-side segments allowed
4. Choreographed routines required. Costumes strongly recommended
5. Mixes of music allowed but must be at least 75% recognizable Salsa
6. Routine time must be between 2 and 2.5 minutes. DJ will stop music at 2.5 minutes
7. All couples in each division will dance on the floor at one time during a closing dance at end of their division. This portion will NOT be judged.
8. Contestants must bring two (2) CDs with their music, ONLY.
9. Registration forms and payment must be received by Salsa Central Denver on or prior to May 29, 2010
