Salsa Central Denver is growing and we can use your help for a number of exciting opportunities. Get involved and with Finance, Fundraising, Special Events, Marketing, Communications and Public Relations, Membership or General activities.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

o Help create and maintain a budget for 2009. Help maintain books and relationship with outside bookkeeper.

FUND RAISING/SPONSORSHIP/ GRANTS COMMITTEE)

o Help acquire sponsorships for events. Develop and implement a plan for writing grants.

PROGRAM/EVENTS COMMITTEE

Coordination of weekly Salsa Socials and other events

MARKETING COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE

Responsible for promotions for all educational activities and events. Coordination of photography at events . Creation and distribution of marketing collateral (fliers and brochures).

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Manages relationship with the Turnverein. Serves as a member on the Turnverein Membership committee, attending monthly meetings. Champions collaboration membership projects with other Turnverein groups. Develops and implements membership incentive programs. Maintains membership list with weekly updates.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS/PR COMMMITTEE

This committee is responsible for the coordination of outside educational events with the community. The distribution of News Releases, the creations of stories and for the implementation of a media and PR plan. The group will also build relationships with local schools to teach and educate children about salsa dancing and culture.
