STRICTLY LATIN COMPETITON
Strictly Latin is a competitive division in which a couple must exhibit their ability to perform three different dances—
Salsa, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Bachata. The same two partners must compete as a couple when performing all three dances. During the competition all couples will be dancing on the floor at the same time. The couples will be scored based on their ability to perform each individual dance. The individual scores from each dance will be combined to create an overall score for each couple. The top three overall scores will be used to determine the final (1st, 2nd & 3rd) winning couples.

What is STRICTLY LATIN?
In Strictly Latin, competitors dance with a pre-selected partner they have most likely danced with prior to the competition. They are encouraged to 'lightly' choreograph a routine to show off some of their best moves, but the dance should focus mostly on improvisational partnering. No supported tricks, lifts or drops allowed. Music will be selected by the DJ and all competitors will dance together as a group.
