Rafael Salsero (SCD Master Instructor)

Rafael Ayure

Rafael, aka “Rafael Salsero,” is from Colombia and started dancing Colombian Folklore and Ethno Modern dance at the age of 16. Rafael continued his classical training until he moved to the United States in 1994.  After arriving in the U.S. Rafael started teaching; bringing his unique Colombian dance style to the Colorado scene. Since then Rafael has performed at major international Salsa Congresses, hosted numerous dance events for corporations, founded the performance team “Salsa Caliente” and coached some of the state’s best couples.  Rafael is constantly trying to promote and improve the Salsa scene in Colorado.  He teaches at La Rumba and has helped make them one of the hottest places in the region for salsa dancing.

Rey Adan (SCD Instructor)

Rey is from Los Angeles and Mexico City and has been teaching Salsa, Cumbia and Bachata for many years. He  has performed at Salsa Congresses  and enjoys teaching for Salsa Central Denver at the Denver Turnverein

Hugo A (SCD Instructor)

Hugo Arriaza is from Quatemala and has been dancing for many years. He is happy to be  teaching for Salsa Central Denver . He has been a member of  CND  (Colorado New Style Dance) performance teams and has performed in many Salsa Congresses.

Beverly Bravo (SCD Instructor)


beverly teachingeverly  is from Denver. Colorado and she has been has been dancing and teaching for years.  She is know for her Afro Latino Cardio class and often leads the warm up at the Wednesday Salsa nights at the Denver Turnverein. She  studied Folk, Modern, Merengue dancing and was mentored by Rafael Salsero and Barbie Novoryta.
